Rezum BPH Treatment Canada
BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia) is the most common cause of urinary symptoms in older men. Men whose PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) blood test is elevated and who are experiencing urinary symptoms should have a consultation with their urologist to determine the correct treatment options for them.
Rezum is a non-invasive water vapor thermal therapy procedure to relieve symptoms of an enlarged prostate. It has been shown to provide symptomatic relief in patients with a prostate size less than 80 cc, while preserving ejaculatory function and not causing erectile dysfunction (ED). Rezum is an option for those who have not had success with watchful waiting, lifestyle changes and/or prescription medications. This link https://mhclinic.ca/rezum-bph-treatment-canada/

Rezum BPH Treatment in Canada: A Minimally Invasive Option for Prostate Enlargement
The results were impressive, with a mean IPSS reduction of 45.2%, Qmax improvement of 51.4%, and PVR (prostate-vesicle ratio) reduced by 34.9%) with no ED related issues at 12 months. This was a multi-center study with a wide variety of patient demographics, not limited by prostate size or prior procedures and it replicated the LUTS outcomes seen by McVary et al in their RCT and other studies.
